SELAH – THE ART OF SLOWING DOWN

The term Selah is used 74 times in the Bible including 71 times in the book of Psalms and 3 times in the book of Habakkuk. However, experts do not exactly agree on the definition of this term. We can include either a moment of musical interlude, or a moment where the reader is invited to stop in order to think about what he has just read, to meditate on the biblical passage and to take a break.

We live in a fast-paced world, where average attention spans are plummeting, and there are more and more distractions. By creating these books, we wanted to offer you a moment of pause in order to help you collect yourself, reflect and do some personal introspection. Through sacred texts and art, we invite you to silence and disconnection to contemplate and connect to the divine.
